The 5th Edition of The Great Hornbill Run is all set to take place on 5th December 2025 at RCSE, Sovima, Chümoukedima.

This exciting annual event continues to celebrate fitness, unity, and the vibrant spirit of Nagaland—drawing runners and enthusiasts from across the state and beyond. Over the years, the run has grown into one of Nagaland’s most anticipated sporting celebrations, inspiring healthy living and encouraging strong community participation through athletics.

Participants can look forward to a well-organized, energetic, and memorable experience that blends the thrill of competition with the joy of coming together as one community.

Instructions and Guidelines 

1.     Age Groups & Category

           · Open Men & Open Women (16 years and above on the date of competition).

 2.     Proof of Age

          · Only Aadhaar Card (Indian participants) & Passport (for tourists) will be considered as valid

documents for identity and age verification.

 3.     Last Date for Registration

          · 30th November 2025, Registration will be online only.

          · No registrations will be accepted after the mentioned last date.

 4. BIB Collection & Registration Fee

          All participants must report at the Regional Centre for Sporting Excellence, Sovima, for document verification and BIBs collection on 04-12-2025 at 2:00 PM.

          · Registration fee: ₹500/- per athlete (non-refundable). Registration fee will be collected at the venue on the 4th December 2025, after the completion of document verification.

          · No participant will be allowed to compete without a valid BIB.

 5. Reporting 

          · Participants must report at the Regional Centre for Sporting Excellence (RCSE), Sovima, Chümoukedima, on the 5th of December 2025 at 6:00 AM.

6. Participation is voluntary, and athletes will compete at their own risk and responsibility.

7. The organizers shall not be responsible for any loss of life, damage, illness, it injury related to participation in the Nagaland 10 K The Great Hornbill Run.
