3rd Nagaland Junior Athletics Championships 2026

The Nagaland Athletics Association is pleased to announce that the 3rd Nagaland Junior Athletics Championships 2026 will be held on 9 September 2026 at the Government Higher Secondary School Ground, Dimapur. The championship aims to provide a competitive platform for young athletes across Nagaland to showcase their talent and promote the development of athletics at the grassroots and junior levels.

The championship will be conducted for both Boys and Girls in the following age categories:

• Under-14: Athletes born between 25 September 2012 and 24 September 2014
• Under-16: Athletes born between 25 September 2010 and 24 September 2012
• Under-18: Athletes born between 25 September 2008 and 24 September 2010

Events:

Under-14 years-

Under-16 & 18 years

An athlete may compete in one age category only.

Under-14 years athletes may participate only in one category.

Under-16 & 18 years athletes may participate in a maximum of two events.

For identity and age verification, only Aadhaar will be accepted as valid proof. No other form of identification or age proof will be accepted.

The last date for submission of registration forms is 7 September 2026. No registrations will be accepted after the specified deadline. The registration fee is ₹100 per event, payable upon successful completion of age verification. BIBs will be issued only after payment of the registration fee, and no athlete will be permitted to participate without a valid BIB.

All participating athletes must report to the Government Higher Secondary School Ground, Dimapur, at 7:00 AM on 9 September 2026 for verification and further formalities.

All athletes must strictly abide by the rules and regulations of the Athletics Federation of India (AFI) throughout the championship.
