A PROUD MOMENT: Nagaland Hosts Athletics Federation of India AGM 2026

In a landmark moment for sports in the Northeast, Nagaland proudly hosted the Athletics Federation of India (AFI) Annual General Meeting 2026 for the very first time, marking a significant step in the state’s sporting journey. The historic event was held on April 14th-15th at Hotel Vivor, Kohima, Nagaland. The inaugural session was graced by Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr Neiphiu Rio, who described the occasion as a matter of great pride and privilege for the people of Nagaland.
